About & CV
Consultant cardiologist in Dorset since 2006, specialising in coronary intervention.
I trained in medicine and cardiology in Edinburgh, then spent a year at the Amsterdam Institute of Interventional Cardiology before taking up my consultant post in Dorset in 2006. There I set up the interventional cardiology department at Dorset County Hospital.
I see patients across all areas of cardiology, with particular experience in complex coronary intervention using intracoronary imaging, pressure wire and rotablation. I am happy to give second opinions on complex cases, and I see patients both privately and in the NHS.
I have received several awards for clinical practice in the UK and internationally, and have been principal investigator on many research studies.
